my friends and I would meet once in the month. we wanted to eat a good place with an average price and have a good time. we went there a few times to just drink coffee and have dessert, but this. we thought we were eating lunch. my friend made a reservation and everything went smoothly. everyone in there stared at us, we're much younger. that was a little strange, but we didn't really notice it. the service was quite fast at the beginning, but we had to wait until we finally got our food. it was overcrowded for lunch. that was delicious and for the price we had to pay well. but we were disappointed when we ordered chocolate mousses, but got hard (one instead. the serviceman after lunch was a...

we ordered a 3-course menu with chf 48.00 per piece and ordered a glass imported (not Swiss) sauser a beer and a half liter mineral water total chf 118.00 all dishes were beautiful and professional (hot teller) presented...but tasted blande. the meat of the main course was not tender and came only in 2 small peace. the birne was not thoroughly cooked and the homemade kastanieneis had no taste. if the cook had been as clever as the waitress we would have found the price tag justified.

You can find this type of restaurant in every town across Switzerland. The food is good, but not great, and the interior is old-style, warm, and wooden (which I happen to like). They serve all the Swiss classics, and make them just fine. Make reservations,...especially on a weekend, or you may find they're full.

Chose this on a Monday because everywhere else was closed or were bars. Good find because the ambience, food and beer were typically Swiss with plenty of classic dishes and a few nice twists, like the Zander fillet and Fitness salad. Recommended for dinner,

once a year we have our main meeting in sursee and we have always dinner in the evening in this restaurant. the service was excellent, also eating. everyone was happy. the beautiful weather made it possible to sit outside.
