I called ahead to check if they had room for a party of 10. The host called back and provided 2 options for seating my group. We ended up being late and he called again to make sure we're still coming and I appreciated his attentiveness. I really wanted breakfast and glad they serve it until 2pm. My group started arriving around 11:30am. Unfortunately, for most of our time there it seemed as if there was only one waiter and one cook. When I counted there were 22 patrons (after a small party of 2 adults, 1 baby, and 1 poodle had just left). I figured we'd be waiting a while for our meals and we did. I ordered the omelet with Spinach Onions, it comes with potatoes, bread, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. I opted to not make a sandwich with the one slice of bread and ate the lettuce cherry tomatoes as a side salad... it definitely could have used some dressing. My toast would have been better if it had been buttered. My potatoes would have been better salted. Next time, I'll ask for Salad Dressing, Butter, and Salt. The omelet was excellent and the Grapefruit juice was good.
Quiet and calm? It's amazing how adequate the staff is? and the most important thing for me is the food? I'm a truck driver, I drive all over America and I visit different cafes and restaurants in different states every day... I have something to compare with!!! Thank you very much for the delicious and fresh food, for the nice service and for the small check ???
Best place in town, we come from Canada and we're so happy to find this place, we went there every breakfast while in Miami, would recommend it to anyone, the food is absolutely AMAZING! But you know you are at a good place when the owner himself feels like family before you leave.
