Kitchen Woori catered for my daughter's 5th birthday. I could've went with a more local Korean caterer in Oakland but Woori seemed way more popular in comparison. They were super responsive and quick with email communications. Delivery fee is not cheap and based on distance traveled but still worth it for us. Most importantly Kitchen Woori was on time! Food was delicious, and as other Yelpers mentioned, they have the best gimbaps! There was a little hiccup on one item but I'm not going to let that overshadow my overall opinion and experience. We placed a catering order with Kitchen Woori for a baby shower we were hosting, and the experience was fantastic. Communication via email was smooth and efficient leading up to the event, and our order was perfectly packed and ready for pickup in two large, easy-to-carry boxes. The food was a hit with our guests! We opted for a finger food style menu that included kimchi jeon, gimbap, popcorn tofu, chicken wings, and japchae. The package also came with serving utensils, plates, napkins, and everything we needed. I would definitely order all of these items again for a large group; the popcorn tofu was my personal favorite!
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Communication regarding my order was handled via email, and Mary was incredibly responsive and helpful in advising me on the best types and quantities of food for my group of six. The order was put together with great care, including all the necessary utensils, food labels, and packaging. Overall, the service was very professional, and the quality of the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be placing orders here again for future catering needs!
Just look at the photos— the setups were simply remarkable! Mary truly went the extra mile to create a Chuseok atmosphere for our office, and our entire team was incredibly pleased with the service. I heard that BlackPink catered their SF concert from here, which honestly makes me love and respect Woori even more. I really wish they would allow a la carte ordering again, but for now, I’ll have to settle for their selection at the grocery store across the street. Their kimbaps are the best in SF—an absolute must-try! They’re perfect for picnics or road trips.
If I could give this restaurant a 6th star, I absolutely would! The portions were generous and the prices were just right. The delivery was prompt, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend the BBQ Beef Short Ribs, Japchae, Braised Chicken, and Braised Tofu — they were all outstanding!
The kitchen is clean and food is amazing!! One of my favorite Korean reataurants. Definitaley will go again!
