Popped in for a late ish lunch on a Friday afternoon. Not much on menu that was suitable for someone who's intolerant to gluten, could see no alternative options displayed and there were no jacket potatoes left just after 1.30pm all of which seemed surprisingly disappointing compared to other similar places I've been. Didn't feel very welcomed and almost like we were a bit of an inconvenience even though the place didn't shut for hours. I'm also pretty sure that the upset tummy I developed 3 hours later was down to what I ate or drink there. I visited this restaurant for the first time while walking the Cotswold way. I stopped for breakfast and a black coffee, which cost me £11.15. The sausages were of poor quality, the bacon was just okay, and the eggs were not great. Overall, the breakfast and coffee were overpriced. The lady who served me seemed unhappy and unwelcoming, making me feel like ordering was a bother to her. On the other hand, the man serving the coffee was friendly. In the current economic climate, businesses that do not provide quality food may struggle in the future.
