When we got home and unwrapped the sandwiches, we found a huge sandwich carefully wrapped in paper, with the bread soaked in rich, flavorful juices and peppers. The beef was cooked to perfection—thinly sliced and incredibly tender. I could only eat half and saved the rest for breakfast the next day.
This morning, I finished the sandwich, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. In fact, the beef was just as outstanding as it was 20 years ago—it truly was exceptional! I haven’t tried any other items at Yadi’s, only the beef and their excellent fries. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
Great place, good spacing and seating if worried about covid and waiting in line. Took one look at Gene and Judes and kept on driving after seeing the line inside. This place wasn't crowded and was hospitable. Good parking. Good prices, fair. Only had gyros and fries (and churro), so rated 4 of 5 stars since I haven't tried anything else yet. Huge gyros portions, especially at only $5.29.
I absolutely love this place! The food is excellent, and the staff is fast and friendly. I'm a repeat customer for sure! Update: It still has the best gyros ever! I always make sure to stop by whenever I head to O'Hare.
I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! The food is always outstanding and reasonably priced, with everything being delicious. Treat yourself to an omelette; you won't regret it!
