Yakitori Takumi

We had the yakatori (chicken and cheese(ok), duck(amazing), chicken ribs(fatty but good) and pork belly wrapped haloumi(disappointing)) also had the seasonal vege (great) and tempura button mushrooms(OMG yes).) The food was expensive but the flavours and atmosphere were great!!Very attentive wait staff (we counted 8 in the tiny Resturant on a Thursday). They were very helpful.Get there at 6 if you want a table. It's very small and busy.The choya umeshu (plum wine) was delightful!

Quality ingredients are the hallmark of Japanese dining and Takumi delivers.We sat at the bar (booths are available). The place is small so booking recommended.This was our first visit and the young team were very helpful. Atmosphere is energetic and fun. We could not fault any of the dishesGood selection of Sake and whiskey although we opted for green tea.Highly recommend.

Very playful food, very cute decors and serving plates. It looks exactly like what I saw from animations. The food is very satisfying and expensive, I would say it's money well spent. Will come again.

Great place, great service, great food if you are in the are definitely with visiting not your standard sushi and sashimi place, try to be more traditional and provide Yakitori menu

Was not familiar with this style of Japanese food and absolutely loved it and so did our young children. Nice change from the sushi style food. Highly recommended!
