Cute little Japanese place, decided to come here for a break from studying on a public holiday. First perk is that it actually WAS open on a public holiday (Queen's Birthday)! It's a small place so I'd suggest booking beforehand.
My favourites were the Miso Sake Black Cod (so very tasty!), Scallop with Kombu Butter (butter was delicious) and the Chicken Thigh (sooo soft!). My experience here was overall very enjoyable. The place is very cramped so it's best to book, which we luckily did. We got seated very quickly and got onto ordering food. My favourites were the Wagyu beef, Japanese omelette, and chicken meatball. They were all cooked very well with great flavour. Some foods really stood out, while others were only decent. The prices are charged per skewer which can get a little expensive but we spent around $60 for 2 people, which I found decent considering that it's yakitori. I've never had yakitori before so I really didn't have anything to compare it to. The service was also great. Would definitely come back!
