i wanted sushi so i came here for takeout. the laksa soup wasn't as good as mad mango's, but it was decent.the rising sun roll, that I asked them to put spicy mayo on instead of regular mayo, was incredibly good. i'm not a sushi connoisseur but the salmon they used was somehow better than any salmon ive had in a sushi restaurant, and the roll tasted really really good. very fresh, and with the crunch of the tempura crispies, the texture and flavours were perfect. i would definitely get the rising sun roll again. overall, i was impressed. nice place, and i was pretty full afterwards, and it cost under 20 dollars. or maybe it was 25, i cant remember, i was so stoked about the rising sun roll.t...

We've enjoyed their vegetarian bento box before, but this time their printed menu was different than their online one. We thought we ordered the vegetarian option, but what came was tofu okay, but also tempura prawns and mock crab sushi. Wasted food!We also asked for one bento box with a couple of extra tempura veggies instead of the tofu (my wife doesn't really like the way they prepare it.) We were told quite gruffly that "No substitutions, period".Fine, we were okay with that until the table next to us asked for a substitution and the reply was (different server:) "No problem"This level of service is unacceptable, sadly this place drops to the bottom of our regular list.

We had spent the day skiing and got into town in the early evening and were famished. We found this place online and it was close and looked good. The food was excellent, they had a nice selection for the kids and had no problem making them a plain bowl of noodles. The Pad Thai and sushi were fantastic, we all left full and satisfied. We hope to be back again on our next pass through Kelowna

Limited selection of Dim Sum with only some basics. More disappointing were the portion sizes. Only 2 - 3 dumplings per steamer. I also tried the Laksa again that is pretty good. I'll just stay with the soup. The server was very good and friendly. Réservez une table maintenant

Meals have not been presented very well. Some of the food was tasteless service was really rushed since there was only one server in the whole restaurant. Will not return to this restaurant there are much better places to eat in Kelowna

Decided to try Yamato for lunch. The service was friendly, and most of the people in our group ordered sushi and enjoyed their meals, but I ordered a Thai dish which was okay, but not great. Might try it again for sushi, but not Thai.

We had take out sushi and Pad Thai for an office business meeting. Service is awesome and food was very well done. We are going to make this a regular lunch order for our staff meetings.

We've go for sushi here regularly. They have a good selection of platters to choose from. Good service. Clean environment. Their prawn and vegetable tempura is great for an appie. Réservez une table maintenant

Although we eat here a lot and it's generally pretty darn good but the last few times we found it to be slipping might be looking for another place while they get it together

Had the Vietnamese dish. I found it bland. The miso soup was good and prices were decent. They have dim sum on weekend afternoons.
