I usually don't write reviews, but I feel the need to do so now. My husband and I went to Browns on a Friday evening. I anticipated it being crowded and busy, but I did not expect the poor service we received. The evening started off well with our drinks and starter arriving promptly. However, our waitress forgot to place our meal order which resulted in a long wait for our main course. Despite her apology, we waited a considerable amount of time for our food, even watching other tables get served twice before us. The wait for our check was also extended. the service on a friday night dining at 7.15 was dreadful. Our starter came reasonably promptly but we had to wait 30 minutes for the main. The staff were apologetic when we complained . We felt that there were too few waitresses who were not properly trained. They walked by tables which needed clearing, stopped to sip their drinks at thebar and did not keep a good eye on their customers tables. The bar staff allowed a multitude of dirty glasses to stand on the bar so they then had a huge quantity to wash. so disappointed since Browns are excellent in London. we will definitely not go to the Liverpool Browns again.
When we arrived we were told that they didn’t have our reservations from Open Table and they were completely full. I showed her my phone with the Open Table receipt and she apologized and explained that there must be issues with the connection with Open Table/their system. The hostess immediately found us a table. She made sure we were well taken care of and that we were finished in time for the football match that evening. She was very accommodating and helpful.
Took a gamble and was not disappointed. Had a selection of wings and fries. Absolutely fantastic, best chicken I've had, loads off flavour n juicy, just fell off the bone Looking forward to try the Manchester one. Note..10% service charge added to bill

Very disappointed with my meal which I sent back. To be fair they were apologetic and didn't charge for my alternative choice which was only marginally better. The pleasant service was the only thing that saved it but Ivwould not return
Food was very nice, especially the dessert. The starter wasn't as hot as I'd have liked but it was still tasty. Service was excellent throughout the evening and the cocktails were great. Lovelying Valentine's day meal, would recommend.
My wife and I asked for six starters so we could share, expecting six separate plates it all come on a rise platter dish, very nicely presented. The staff who looked after us where lovey.
We had our reservation at Browns restaurant cancelled on the same morning we were planning to go because they claimed they had no availability and that OpenTable had made a mistake.

I had lobster as a main, it was well presented and easy to take the flesh out of the shell. The staff were attentive.
The restaurant offers delicious food and beverages, creating a pleasant dining experience.
