We couldn't book a table and just walked in. It was busy but the staff managed to find us a table. Friendly and informative staff asking us whether we would like to order by phone or table service. As we had a voucher, we had to order via table service. We ordered Hot Honey Mustard Chicken Wings £6.50) and The Dirty Bird £13.50) to share. Food came at a reasonable time and we were happy with the portion as it did fill us up. Lovely crispy chicken in both dishes and flavoursome from the variety of sauces. The atmosphere is chill-out. A good place for gatherings with friends and families as children were provided an activity pack. Would come back again.
You know the rumour that you should never order food from the specials menu because it’s likely an amalgamation of unwanted leftovers? Well, that was proved somewhat correct during our visit to Yard Coop. We (me, the hubby and our friend) had found ourselves in the Northern Quarter, hungry and overwhelmed by the all-American food choices (side note: the NQ has *way* too many faux-American diners and restaurants), when I spotted Yard Coop on a ‘food near me’ sweep of the interwebs. It’s a fried chicken restaurant and all three of us like fried chicken, so it seemed like fate.
As an American, there are quite a few things that I’ve been searching for since moving to the UK: The perfect burger (thanks Bleecker Street for that! , amazing Mexican food (and the search continues, any ideas about that readers? and really delicious fried chicken (and possibly an amazing buffalo sauce to go with it . It’s been over five years now, and while the burger scene in London has really exploded and made some amazing burgers, the similar explosion in chicken has been lackluster, leaving me feeling forlorn.
The restaurant has clean, modern decor and offers a large menu. I highly recommend the seafood board starters. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Our party of 11 was well taken care of, with hot and personalized dishes. The service was attentive, especially with drink orders. Overall, it was a lovely night and it's no surprise that this restaurant has received high ratings on TripAdvisor.

my favorite frying chicken place in some. have been here often and always order the same, upper leg with Korean sauce, which is a little sweeter than other sauces, but well combined with the saltiness of the chicken. good ambiente and reasonable price. the menu is limited to chicken variations and no desserts on the menu. bummer.
The food was outstanding and had huge portions too, I had the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and my Wife had the Dirty Bird, we also ordered a side of Salt n Pepper fries which to be honest we didn't need to. But they were very tasty all the same. And because I used the on site WiFi I got a voucher for a free side
The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. There was a good selection of beer and cocktails available. Some of the beer was a bit pricey at £7 a pint, but the food was delicious and although a bit expensive, worth it. I would definitely return to this restaurant without hesitation.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for lunch with my friends! The server, Duncan, was exceptional and helped us navigate the menu, ensuring we had a fantastic meal. We will definitely be returning here in the future!

Great food and atmosphere! We ordered burgers, wings, mac n’ cheese and fries and they were amazing! The milk shakes were also very nice. Do not accept American Express.
Honestly the best chicken burger I've ever had. Incredible portion sizes and you would be a fool if you didn't order a portion of Not Chicken Nuggets to share.
