Really disappointing experience. We were seated and the waitress was friendly and brought out water and took our drink order and appetizers, and said we would have our main dish order ready shortly after. Our drinks come out and our apps, then nothing for 40 mins, she visits every other table around ours but ours, we try waving her down multiple times, we ask a server if she could help us get our servers attention, watch the server talk to here...and still nothing for 10 more mins. All the tables around us who seated after us were served many of their dishes brought to our table (being hungry, that felt like a cruel knife twist). So I ask another waitress inside to take our order she apologi...
We were seated quickly on a busy Sunday evening (Labor Day weekend). Our server was attentive and sweet. The food was just meh . I 've been to plenty of Yard Houses and knew what to expect. It 's strange to get a burger as an adult and not have the option to get lettuce or tomato on it. The Poke Nachos appetizer were a decent size for a meal for a teenager but as an appetizer for a few people, you 'd need at least two. The Chicken nachos appetizer is a much better option as it 's about 3 times bigger and cheaper, obviously because, no tuna. The reality is, you 're coming here for the huge beer selection and to probably catch a glimpse of a sporting event you care about, not for the food.
It's an alright place with alright food for a party. The problem was that we went in as a group and one of us asked for a gluten free sandwich because of celiac and allergies but instead got normal sandwich that the effects kicked in after we left and almost spent the night in a hospital. Servers/waitres/food preps should pay more attention to that stuff. Luckily, it was gluten allergy and not a nut allergy, for example, because that could kill someone.
I am giving this restaurant one star because when my family and I went there with our 2-year-old daughter, we ordered chicken tenders. Despite it being a Friday night, after 35 minutes they still hadn't brought her food. I had to go and ask them to bring it, and this really upset me. I don't understand why it would take so long to make chicken tenders. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
First time at Yard House! It did not disappoint! We were celebrating a birthday. Great food and great service. Quinten was our server-great service and he hustled all night! Great personality and took great care of us. We are in California on vacation. Loved the Spectrum Area in Irvine. Will definitely be back! Great menu selection!
