Most expensive bar meal iv ever had. Was ushered to a bar booth. The so called restaurant part was cordoned off set for hotel breakfast (we were stopping at this hotel) . We did not miss much as we found out at breakfast as far as ambience. It's a dated place with some lights not working. And photos missing on walls extra . The meal itself was ok. Mine was 2 small lamb koftas with some lettuce leafs and a basket of chips . All of which probably came out of a freezer and was only warm when arrived. His prawn linguini he said delicious and pipping hot. Also had one starter. 2 beers and bottle of red. Bill came to 114.90. was over charged for 2 extra beers. 10.45 service charge. visited for afternoon with 11 friends. eat very average. the staff was unwilling and the service was in the bad way. when we came to pay the bill that we told ourselves the cost were £19,95 per person, not the £15,95 as per online menu and instead to pay an extra £4 to add a glass prosecco, we were told it was over £8 per personsec as we were serving a better quality proco without even being asked. that spoils the whole experience and unfortunately we will not be back.
we had a table booked for 19.45pm. When we arrived at the restaurant there was no one to welcome us. The tables had pots on them, filled up with sugar and sweetners, clearly set up for tea/coffee for that afternoon, and not set up for dinner. There were no other diners in the restaurant either. Because of the lack of staff, we decided to eat else where. We chose this hotel because of the restaurant on site, we now wish we had booked elsewhere !
The restaurant seemed welcoming. We were seated promptly, but unfortunately, the table was quite sticky. We were recommended to order fewer small plates and were informed that they did not have hand-cut chips. The cocktail waiter was friendly and provided good recommendations. It was very quiet in the restaurant at 8:30pm.

The food at this restaurant was exceptional, with great attention to detail and accommodation for dietary restrictions. The service we received was exceptional, thanks to Elliot who truly stood out. We had a wonderful time at our afternoon tea and are grateful for the experience. Thank you.
Very happy with the afternoon tea I had booked for my daughters birthday. Staff were very nice.. kept checking if we needed anything. Felt welcomed as we were the only Asians there. Will definitely be going again.

We took a friend for afternoon tea as a retirement gift, food and drinks were lovely and the service was great. Lovely afternoon and would recommend.
Disappointing experience. Short-staffed with inexperienced and unprepared employees. Tables were dirty and lacking in atmosphere.
