Stumbled across this place last weekend whilst wandering down Chapel St. FANTASTIC **** Hot Mary's and food on offer. Other half ordered the Burger that he reported was delicious and tasty. I ordered the Nachos which could have fed a small nation - servings are huge (half servings are on offer which I highly recommend). The best part for me was the **** Hot Mary - perfect amount of spice and flavour. Staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. Def going back!
Went for brunch with a friend on a weekday. We ordered the burrito breakfast and the taco breakfast,both dishes were awesome offering an array of different flavors which all combined perfectly. We finished it off with a wicked french toast that had the unusual addition of sliced apricot,that combination proved spot on!!Presentation on all three dishes was superb and the portions very generous!! Service very efficient.All in all a very pleasant experience!!
Having moved in the area a short while ago we have found Yellow Bird to be consistently awesome with delicious , well priced food and drinks. Usually for us its breakfast, our favs include Roast Pumpkin on toast with poached eggs and the breakfast burrito. The coffee is one of the highlights and again is consistently spot on. Staff are friendly and efficient nothing is an issue, a great place to chill and have a feed.
Went looking for some lunch while visiting a family member in a local hospital so walked up to Chapel street. Came across the Yellow Bird and the menu was quite different to anything else around. We weren't disappointed. The avocado mess was great as to was the pumpkin and poached eggs. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable of their menu. All came as expected. Great change from the normal cafes around the area. Réservez une table maintenant
Drinks were lovely but ruined by rude staff asking us not to 'take the ****' after I gave a friend a sip of my drink. We were all over 24 and showed ID, instead of being asked to see my friends ID I was approached in front of my group and talked down to. It was embarrassing and uneccesary, when I asked to speak to a manager I was told to 'get over it'. I would never do on there again!
Went here for a late night dinner and drinks with my friends. I had the cheeseburger and a cider which was super delicious. The fries on the side were the best thin cut chips! It also had a wonderful, chill atmosphere; perfect place to catch up with friends! Highly recommend! Will be coming back soon.
