Trying out the new venture of the team from Bentley, Yellow at 59 Macleay Street Potts Point, we were not disappointed by the food. It was different. Had great flavours. And the presentation was terrific. The roasted heirloom carrots as a starter were fantastic and the main course was equally tasty. Small issue: we ordered Mulloway and we were served Snapper, with no explanation nor an apology. Had to continually ask for water and for our wine glasses to be re-filled. And this was a Monday night when you may well think it was a little less crowded and more manageable. Not that the staff were rude: on the contrary they were very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. They were just not very se...

Good food for breakfast, luch and dinner with options for gluten free. The service is attentive and friendly, whether you are there for a meal or just coffee. Being a very fussy coffee fan I can recommend the coffee here, which always comes with a glass of cool water. The restaurant is on the bottom floor of an historic Sydney building called The Yellow House, which used to be frequented by the likes of Brett Whitely, Martin Sharp and Richard Neville in the 60's. A touch of history that will appeal to art lovers.
This cafe has become my new favourite local - excellent atmosphere, the staff is always very friendly and the food is consistently good. It's a great place to sit and read the paper in the morning with coffee or to have a nice dinner with friends in the evening. Really enjoyed the recent jazz night (both the music and the spiced rum punch) and looking forward to the next one.
Staying in Potts point and this place had a mid priced menu and space on a strangely busy Monday night. Nevertheless the service and food were great. My lamb was cooked perfectly and the other two mains both declared delicious. Strangely though the wine list is mainly 'old world' although we found a Victorian Pinot Noir that was very decent. The room is great with edgy wall features & loads of character. The bottom line is that the food we ate was terrific although the menu is limited. Have been a few times & the service can be somewhat erratic but the quality of the dishes soothes any frayed nerves
Couldn't believe it. Four small veges plus wine for $130. A baby carrot, a baby corn piece, a sliver of squash and one serving of broccolini. Don't start me on the desert. Luckily McDonalds was on the way home.
Called here on our first morning in Sydney we both had delicious pork belly bacon and scrambled eggs good friendly service and tasty food we will call again
La Renaissance has some of the best pastries I've ever had. We walked by and immediately were taken with the beautiful display of pastries and cakes. Réservez une table maintenant
Good coffee, and really busy so be prepared to what a while for your order. Not really sure if the food was worth it, but the coffee was.

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
