Our family have been regulars at Yo Sushi since it opened and eat here a few times a month. Consistently superior quality sashimi and equally fantastic options for young children, this is the only restaurant my children want to go to. The take away is equally good and extremely thoughtfully packaged. The interior atmosphere and surrounding shopping complex are a bit dated however the food is far superior to any other restaurant in Beecroft and the closest to good Japanese I can find is in the city. If you are after good food in a casual atmosphere then don't think twice- just go and see for yourself. So yummy
Their sushi and sashimi are always fresh, serving decent and service friendly. The udon though flavoursome is tiny in serving and comes with a pitiful amount of tempura or seafood. For $10 or so more, you get the deluxe bento box in which your order of main course comes with salad, sushi, sashimi and miso soup. It is the best value bento box in Sydney. (And yes, I have tried out bento boxes in Japanese restaurants all over Sydney.) You need to book in advance on Friday and Saturday nights as the restaurant is actually quite small and fill up very quickly with locals on these nights.
I eat here at least three times per month and have done since it opened. The food is fresh, it's interesting though limited and the head chef knows what he's doing. He often creates dishes for regulars that aren't on the menu just to give you something else to try and show off his abilities. The sushi, sashimi, gyozas, tempura, bento boxes, and house specialties are all fantastic and that's why I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
We have been going toYo Sushi since it first opened in Beecroft a few years ago.We have been dozens of times since and have always had amazing food . The variety is great and the menu retains favourites supplemented with new dishes frequently.Everything is good so I won't suggest individual dishes.They also do take away platters for parties etc.Nice friendly service.BYO

This is a really nice little restaurant with very good service. If you're in beecroft for any reason and need a meal this is great for lunch or dinner. Very popular with the locals on a Thursday and Friday so make a booking. Their takeaway is also very handy and fresh. They don't deliver but if you call ahead and order it's always ready on time.
We love Japanese and to have this restaurant as "the local" is superb. Forget the decor, go for anything at all on the menu and you will be delighted. We have tried everything over time and not a complaint. Can get a bit noisy inside, and yes, it pays to reserve a table, especially for Friday night. BYO. Friendly on the pocket, too.
For the mid range amount of money you're paying, the portion sizes are fantastic. Their full size sushi rolls on the menu are huge, and delicious. All ingredients are fresh, which is really important in Japanese food. I've been with friends, by myself, and with my family. Good for all occasions, would recommend to everyone.
Dropped in on Friday night and managed to get a table outside in the arcade (with heater). Definitely needed on a crisp winter evening.Started with Gyoza and followed with Sizzling beef and Teriyaki salmon. All fresh, tasty and very satisfying.We'll be back and/or take away

We regularly eat at Yo Sushi and have never been disappointed! The food is always delicious - the gyozas are a must. The big rolls, bentos and sashimi are always fresh and really tasty. It is a good idea to book, especially on a Friday night as it gets really busy.
This is pretty good quality sushi and sashimi. The various rolls are great too. Nice soft shell crab and seared salmon rolls. Quick service if you want takeaway.
