Yo! Sushi Kingston

Dined here for a late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was relatively empty; only three other tables there when we arrived. We ordered approximately five hot dishes and drinks on the app, and took some sushi from the belt. After waiting over 20 minutes for the hot food, I asked a waiter how long it might be. We didn’t really want to eat the sushi and sashimi and not have the hot foods to go with it. A further 15 minutes passed still no hot food. I queried again and this time requested they be taken off the bill as a goodwill gesture due to the time elapsed. He tried to barter with me and only take off one, to which I said that wouldn’t be good enough, and he removed everything that hadn’t arrived at the table. Overall the food was very good, and we actually were able to try some different (Korean) dishes that are not available at other branches. Had the service been quicker, this would have been a 5* review.

Maybe its just not my cup of tea but this was really disappointing I guess the rolls/sushi are alright, the same stuff you expect from wasabi/itsu/etc, but the cooked food strongly suggest not to try : the ramen was beyond disappointing, the whole broth was oily and you can taste nothing but black pepper, the vegetable was raw, the noodle is not ramen, just egg noodle. Not to mention it was not hot enough. I think i prefer wagamama if we are talking about western style cooked japanese food. Stick with the rolls/maki if you go!

Took my daughter (3)for her first to visit with my partner. The food came pretty quickly (although he would disagree as other people's food going by was a tease apparently) The new system where you order on your phone then wait for your order isn't as good as the old one. Preferred it when you took what you liked the look of. It slows your visit and I think limits what you try. Hence a lost star. But. All in all the food was delish and we enjoyed our visit

First time in Yo....I was quite excited...I shouldn't have been. Food was average. Service? Its Yo Sushi....the conveyor belt was nice but no conversation...so very little service. Atmosphere of a sterile operating theatre. Nothing really awful but nothing to draw me back....Kingston has better to offer. I won't be going back of my own choice.

Had a great lunch at the YO! Sushi Kingston branch yesterday. Food came promptly and everything tasted delicious. It was a tad busy, however the staff did their utmost best to ensure customers enjoyed their meal.
