Tonight it was 50c wing night which was pretty great. The wings had a nice kick to them, and my American friend said they were some of the best wings she'd had in Australia. We had them with blue cheese ranch, which was nice and cooking when the heat of the wings became a bit much for me. The BBQ cola lamb ribs were absolutely delicious, and the accompanying slaw was tasty and well dressed. Mac and cheese was also quite good, if only a small portion. The most disappointing part was that the bar serves crinkle chips which are my FAVOURITE but they were cold when they got to us - pouty face.
Dined in on a cold Friday evening. This was our first visit and would more than likely be our last. Live in the area but had held off trying due to friends negative comments on the food. After finally dining at Young & Frisky I would have to agree with what we had heard about the restaurant. The mac & cheese has no flavour and was not cheesy at all. Our crinkle cut fries were cold. The buffalo wings had a yummy flavour but it isn't enough to tempt us to try Young & Frisky again.
Really not sure about the recent not so good reviews as we had a great feed and really enjoyed the atmosphere there. It's the second time we've been there. Cocktails are delicious (had the same jam n gin one again as it's so good), my fried chicken burger really hit the spot, and my other half highly rated his fried chicken with mac and cheese. No problem with the service at all and will make the effort to go again!
While this place might be a good place for a Friday after work drink, I would give it a wide berth. The service was atrocious and on more than one occasion, with only a dozen, patrons I had to wait for the bar man to finish his social media updates or texts. The food was greasy and for the most part inedible

Only good thing about the food was the chicken. was cooked well. Waited 25 mins for food when it was near empty. Don't think they have heard of seasoning as the chicken was terribly bland. Side of mash potato was cold when served.
I love good fried chicken so I was excited to visit this place. We both got chicken and I got chips and my wife got mac and cheese. Everything was tasty and not overpriced. Not the best food in the world but definitely tasty.
We went there for a unofficial committee meeting, ate and drank like kings, surprisingly not much was achieved! It can get quite loud so make sure you pick your occasions for going there
Three lunches: two burgers and one meal of fried chicken. In summary: we'll be going again, for repeats of what we had, and to try the menu items that looked good.

Food was too salty for my interest and felt like I would get diabetes and had to immediately wash it down with a beer.
Sunday afternoon drinks and eats with friends and family were enjoyed at this bar and casual eatery.
