Our server made great suggestions. We tried the waygu pan fried dumplings, they melted in my mouth, tasty but wish there were larger pieces of waygu mixed in with the veggies, the warm mushroom salad was delicious too. I loved the warm temperature of the mushrooms paired with the citrusy ponzu dressing. And the ramen was hearty, especially because it was so cold outside. Food was very good but very expensive compared to other sushi places in the area. Lunch crowd was quiet. Maybe they should offer specials for lunch to get a full restaurant. I'm sure food prices have gone thru the roof but they don't have a large staff. Ithink people are starting to really notice how expensive food is getting and I believe they are losing customers due the price.Lets see if they do the right thing for their business. I'm sure the quality can still be the same with lower prices but a fullrestaurant. I am looking forward to going again in a few weeks for lunch and see if anything changed
Terrific sushi. I highly recommend this place, and it's worth the drive. Menu takes a little getting used to, and they have a lot of options to try that you may not know. The staff was great. Very friendly, responsive. And willing to explain early itemson the menu and even suggest what to pair items with. This is a must try sushi place. It's worth a 30 45 min drive as it's notclose to most places. Great food...you will not be disappointed.
First time there tonight with my husband. Best sushi I’ve had in Monmouth County since moving here four years ago. Very fresh fish, everything was tasty and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. They also have great red beans ice cream you should also get there edamame and miso soup. And there green tea.
