I only gave a star just so I could write that I would never recommend anyone to have a meal from this place. The service was horrible the food was over price I had the chilli beef It had more onion than the chewy beef served 3 beans and 1 pickled chili on the plate with a tasteless bowl of steamed rice my mother had salt and pepper squid that was covered in over cooked batter and would have had more bounce in it than a superball nothing else on the plate at all . Not to mention that the both dishes were bought to the table 10 minutes apart no cutlery and we had to use our hand sanitizer and tissues to clean the table before we ate. I would have asked for our money back but the server couldn'...
really disappointing. just go to drakes they really care. ma po tofu is an authentic Chinese dish from the province of Sichuan, famous for its spicy foods. it is disappointing to see a lack of appreciation for what the court has made international great. are they not going to this pale imitation of a Chinese restaurant with its misleading menus and small upcoming reception. the saddest, this place was really good in the past. Luckily there is another Chinese place that actually takes care and is also cheaper. it's in drake.
My mother and I were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant. However, we ended up waiting about 50 minutes at 8:00 PM just to receive our fried rice and a dozen dumplings. The fried rice was very average and lacked flavor. The dumplings, while decent and filled with good meat, weren't worth the long wait. The service was terrible; the staff just sat on their phones in front of the register and seemed indifferent. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
It's a real art form to create squid sooo rubbery and salty it's entirely inedible, then park it on top of some super dry steamed rice. I'm not sure how you even get rice that dry I didn't know it was possible. They were lucky I was already on the Southern Expressway by the time I cracked the lid on this box of microwaved sand, I would have spun around and ask for a full refund. I didn't even stop at Old Noarlunga to feed the Seagulls, I didn't want to harm them. Réservez une table maintenant
Food is excellent, never change those vegetarian dumplings! However, it is 2022 and I’m not sure why ‘strong’ plastic bags are being used; they take even longer to breakdown than regular plastic bags… they’re NOT eco friendly. How hard is it to transition over to paper bags and compostable materials to keep food in? I genuinely believe you’d get an influx of customers by transitioning over to eco friendly dining especially located at a place like Pasadena.
