This restaurant is a little hole-in-the-wall near the plaza, easy to overlook if you're passing by. However, once inside, it felt so cozy and inviting. Everything reminded me of home, making it a comfortable place to sit down, relax, and peruse the menu. It IS a little expensive for a food like Tteokbokki, which is supposed to be snack food, but they do fill you up really fast and portion is adequate. Ordered tteokbokki with added Chinese noodles (the really wide, clear ones), assorted fries, and Tuna Mayo Jumbo Rice. Ordered the Yupdduk Oh $22 and added glass noodles $2. The portion can feed 3-4 people.. it’s pretty big! We waited for a good 30 min.. so give yourself some time when you come here! We got the mild spice and it was still too spicy for me. I want to go back and try the extra mild which the server said it’ll be sweeter. Apparently the original is equivalent to the fire noodles. Soo ask before getting the original.. it’s not packed inside but to go orders were consistent as we were there. This store is to the left of the supermarket. However, my second visit was disappointing. The restaurant was much busier, and we came with a larger group. We ordered the Yap Oh again, along with the pork and chicken wings. Both the pork and wings were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection — I highly recommend them. Unfortunately, my issue with returning to this restaurant lies in their customer service. Being a smaller establishment, they seemed overwhelmed when the crowd grew. They mistakenly served our Yap Oh to another table that had arrived after us, forcing us to wait an additional 30 minutes for a new dish (making our total wait time approximately an hour). Came here on a Tuesday and I made a reservation but it was actually empty so they didn 't even look at my reservation. We came in a group and 3 and it was not enough people for one Yupduk my friend and I took the leftovers home and we ended up eating it for 3 more meals.I love the duk in these bowls, it 's so perfectly chewy and so different from other korean restaurants and the ones you get at Hmart. Also the spice level is insane, I 'd always get mild or extra mild one time we got the medium and I think it 's genuinely spicier than Samyang Spicy Noodles : ' ' '
Sigh.. we ordered via ubereats several times and they have messed up on our order EVERY single time without a fail. Don't bother including order notes..they completely ignore them. And there are always missing items.. i get a stomachache every time i eat here but i always blamed it on the spiciness. Today we ordered it mild, and everyone in our household got a stomachache. We noticed they have never passed a health inspection with anything higher than a B and that is a little disturbing. We probably won't be ordering or eating here anymore.
10/3/22A nice place for family lunch regularly. We come here at least once a month, have some Yupdduk set, Jumbo rice, and Soondae. This time, we asked extra-mild spicy flavor and it was wonderful. Last time, we had just mild , thinking it 's not that spicy but it was, so we could not even finish it up. Come and try some of those we did, then you 'll never get disappointed!!
They said 20-25min. When I pick up the orders, but it was not ready and they stared to cook. Don’t go to yupdduk Diamond Bar.

The food was good, but they didn’t remove the sausages as I requested, which was an important dietary concern for me.
