Mediterranean magic in downtown St. Pete. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday; as regular Mediterranean/middle eastern foodies, we can 't resist a good kebab/falafel/kibbeh/salad! We tried all of the above and they were all great quality and flavorful. Their 'award winning ' burger is basically a bun-kebab with feta, and was very good also (though I would probably get the kebab platter next time for the sides). The only slight disappointment being down to maybe mis-ordering a tahini salad bowl with too much tahini and not enough salad (for us). We ordered shawerma and kefta in a wrap and pita bread. Both were bland, no flavors at all. The wrap and pita were not toasted before serving (on a grill or panini press). The bigest problem was the shawerma, they don't have the traditional shawerma vertical grill that will make it both charred and juicy. I am guessing it was a sliced skirt steak then cooked in a skillet. Not even made to order. We also ordered the Zaytoon sampler. We liked everything except for the ghanoush and foule. The foule was cold which is weird for a middle eastern restaurant. The ghanoush tasted like boiled eggplant paste. I didn't taste anything else. We got the Mixed Grill platter that had beef, chicken and kefta kabobs with some grilled veggies. We also got the Zaytoon sampler so we could try their hummus and babaganoush. The hummus was outrageously good, very light and clearly freshly made. All the food was delicious; because of the platters we were able to try out so many parts of their menu and we loved all of it.

hector and I were here for the first time and we loved eating. the people who work here and the owner are really wonderful people. the owner shows the staff how to cook it. it is very tasty and we plan to go back. the prices are also good as they get slot of food. hector and gwen Réservez une table maintenant

Very friendly and pleasant people, but the food is not very good. I got the chicken shawarma bowl. The chicken was dry and flavorless, like they forgot to marinate it. The rice was bland. The veggies were good. There was barely a drizzle of sauce and it needed a lot.

stopped on holiday looking for a good healthy evening meal. everything was delicious. the atmosphere is covered and the staff was so friendly and helpful. we had the zaytun sampler, the lamb cabob cellar and chicken swarm. highly recommended! the hummus was from

zaytun is one of the underestimated hidden gems on central. eating is always amazing! I get the chicken plated and hummus each time and it never disappoints. the restaurant is family owned and the family could not be nicer and friendly. they feel like home!

absolutely stellar service and so friendly and warmhearted! the personal is really present and worried for the customers even about the food. eating is also amazing and a great price I can not recommend zaytun enough if they are a falafel fiend as I are! Réservez une table maintenant

This is hands down the best greek restaurant in town! They have a great selection of vegan options and their falafel is the absolute best (and gf too). If you love quality food, pleaseee visit this place. 10/10 great every time!
