From the outside it looks like a decent pub, it has airy rooms and a small garden. The menu is 70% veggie, with many vegetable options. The dish was somewhat surprised to me with the lack of standard pages/chips//potatoes, but it was served on an interesting mixture of steamed greens that would be a much better side than any standard. Good place to convert people to plant-based cuisine, they can hope to eat meat when they decide to go there, but there is a great chance that they try something vegan

unfortunately not what I expected. no warm or friendly welcome from someone behind the bar, why is there a coffee shop in a pub? eating seems sown in oil, chips not done, and in addition they can see that the owner has no passion for the venue as he runs quite down, not what one would expect from the German management. typos in the menu write errors on the boards make it look worse. I hope it'll be up someday!

Best German Place in London. The beer is great, the food is good, the atmosphere is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Always worth going, but make sure if you don't like watching sports that you call in advance and make sure it's not a Bundesliga or Champions League night when a German team is playing because most of the place will be reserved and it will be loud.

As others have said the buffet on wednesdays and Fridays is brilliant and well priced, doubly so for central London. Beer selection is huge and not just the usual suspects either) and more expensively priced, a nice touch if you can afford it! Lovely place, I definitely plan to come back.

most food on the menu are half price during the day Monday-Thursday. some of the Alsace pizzas are decent and you can almost always get a table day. it can be a bit cold, so pack in winter. there seems to be a high personal turnover, but I'm not sure why.

the staff was not very helpful or welcoming. they were much more interested in having a good old chin-wag with another, although it was a snake. the place has expired. to cover it from the food, is quite bland. I would never come back. the beer was cold!

They were good vegan options, and some things you can find nowhere, but extremely expensive. The chicken kyiv was really good, but £18 without pommes or something. Scotch egg also great, but £8.50 for a big scotch egg.

Great Remaining Rough quality food served in a bar. 50% of the menu is vegetarian or vegan. The chef has created an interesting menu that restores classic (without meat substations) with great flavors.

Ate here 3 times during stay. Enjoyed the sharing plates. Tuna with bean a tomato salad a favourite. Staff were kind and welcoming. Will visit again.
