This was our first visit to Zhivago. We were only a handful of 'regular ' diners, while the remainder of the dining room was clearly being set up for several large parties. The staff were so incredibly busy setting up for these extravagant parties that the few tables that were there just for dinner were mostly ignored. We waited (very hungrily) for close to ONE HOUR for a chicken, salmon, and a salad. Meanwhile, we watched 12-15 wait staff bring platter after platter of food out for a banquet of people who had not yet arrived. Our waiter who clearly had no control over the food preparation, nonetheless looked at us with little concern or emotion each time we asked him for the ETA of our dinn...
We tried this restaurant based on reviews. We were first disappointed with the hostess not paying attention to us. Then when we ordered, they were our of one of the featured dishes (Moscow duck) that we both wanted. The restaurant wasn't that busy so the server made the excuse that it was due to a big party in their banquet room. Our alternate entree choices (salmon and beef stroganoff) were warm, not hot, and just fair in taste. I selected lemon sorbet for dessert but they brought ORANGE. I sent it back and they did not charge us for it. Nice try, but we won't return.
It was a special day at a wonderful restaurant, featuring a seven-course menu that included tuna, carpaccio, French champagne, and filet Oscar style, all for just $49.99 per person. The high-quality dining experience was complemented by unforgettable entertainment.
I was completely satisfied with both the service and the food. A special thank you to our waitress, Anastasia. We will definitely return!

perfect dinner with my friends . Unit so nice and frendly . If you order Shnitcell take Home Style potato and mushroom w garlik sauce . My blinis w caviar same like Home from Ukraine . Interior and service high class

Somewhat disorganized. Several different servers. Food good. Nice folks. No one at the front door we had to call them to be seated.
