Zin Sushi & Noodle

We've been eating here every two weeks or so for the last few years. We absolutely love it! I assume all of the food is terrific but really we only order the same four items every time: Beef Donburi, Bulgogi Roll, Mango Roll and the Sashimi Salad. This is the best sushi in Victoria as far as we are concerned. The service is fantastic, the family that runs it is absolutely lovely and the food comes out shockingly quick. The prices are very reasonable. Our bill for the above as well as a pot of tea is usually around $38 and we're both stuffed at the end of the meal. Had a quick business lunch here yesterday. The sushi was ok. Dynamite roll. ..a little messy and skimpy. Way too much sweet sauce squirted all over the top of the roll sogged it out and took away from the overall taste. My associate had some kind of a stir fry with rice which she said she enjoyed. Will try again sometime.

We came here for lunch at the suggestion of our friend. We were disappointed by the quality of the food. The sushi rice was not prepared at high quality. The seafood soup udon did not give with enough flavour. Overall, the quality of the sushi and udon was just average.

This place is one of my favorites. The staff is always friendly and food is great. My favs are the teriyaki and tempera bento boxes, dynamite roll, and the chicken udon soup.

We ordered the Classic roll combo and unagi for takeout. I am having a hard time picking my favorite roll and the unagi was perfect too. We will be back
