We found this place while taking the prettier route from Liechtenstein direction Zurich. Located on the hillside overlooking the Vaduz valley, this is perfectly fine place to stop for a decent meal from a decently varied menu (albeit no English translations are available). The fried chicken salad was enjoyable while my wife's soy-flavored white fish fillet (interestingly mixed with French dressed salad) was nevertheless tasty. Priced at standard Swiss levels, with friendly staff and a great view (we sat outside in the wonderful summer warmth) this is an entirely decent restaurant.
Located at the beginning of the mountain road in Gams, the hotel and restaurant is nestle among some amazing nature and forest. The restaurant has a lovely terrace where one can chill in the sun overlooking all the beauty and nature. The menu offers a wide array of dishes, many Swiss and from the local area. Ordered Spätzle combined with Mountain Cheese and home made apple sauce. Be not a vegetarian the dish is delicious and made with care. Lovely and great hospitality service. High recommended.
I was there on 19.11.16 with 3 colleagues to stay. we were at a concert in gams and were looking for a cheap overnight opportunity. we stayed for 40 chf incl. breakfast. in addition we had an evening meal and it was very good. only our round bier we had to leave again because it was scary. but without a prrobleme was replaced by very friendly service personnel. happy again!
