My sister and my brother-in-law have long been swarming from the “Waldgasthaus Zum Wilden Schmied”. Located in the Wiehengebirge, between Bergkirchen and Porta Westfalica, this inn is well known for locals. A very idyllic guest house in the middle of the forest. Those who do not shy about 20 min walk through the beautiful forest will be rewarded with an impressive view. We were served very nice and courteous and the food was really delicious. Only the possibility to pay with card should still be retrieved. I would like to make a very clear recommendation here. We enjoyed the stay very much.
Even the way through the forest is a little experience. At the finish you will not find the dartshaus, but a modern, cozy ambience with many animal preparations and old forging tools on the walls. Wild on the menu unfortunately not. Service and food are tiptop! Who doesn't bother that smoking and who doesn't want to go to the Italian is here at the right address and is well served.
