Nous avons été vraiment gâtés et notre soirée spéciale a été rendue encore plus spéciale par l'attention et les extras que nous avons reçus.

We had a family dinner (4 adults and 2 children) and were given a superb local meal and great attention. The owners were engaging and also paid particular attention to the children - catering for their needs as well as our own. We all had the cassoulet which was delicious - portion perhaps a little generous. It is the end of the season so the restaurant was a little empty but the ambience was lovely.I would certainly return.

We have been several times, and always receive a friendly welcome. The food is well cooked. The last time we went we both had the steak which was well cooked to our liking, however the chips need to be improved,we do not like French fries but these were cooked to a crisp and difficult to eat.I think for the price there should be other types of potato offered or good fat chips and some veg would be nice. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we enjoyed the evening and will be back, just improve the chips!

We ate here last night, our first time since the new owner took over. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal. We chose the fixed price menu, which was a very good choice. The Gambas were large, juicy and delicious,my husband had the carpaccio and we both had the Veal which was excellent and served with a variety of vegetables. It is so nice to have our lovely La Casserole open again. Well worth a visit, we will certainly be back again this summer.

120euros the steak was like shoe leather, drinks were served in bottles rather than poured into the glass. Very poor ,will not take any more clients or family members here again. We sat while a moth was fried in a lamp , it filled the cafe with a terrible smell, not a nice place to go

There are new owners here now, after decades of the previous owner. It's nice to see it busy, we went on a Friday night with friends and were pleased to see that rather than it just being a traditional 4 course meal you can have starter, main and dessert. There is a small selection of these plats, but there is a wide range of choice of meat. Our party of 4 had the duck and veal. Both of which came served with a small portion of veg, frites and mash. The portions were a pleasant size, not being too large or small. The quality of the meat was excellent, in particular the veal was beautiful. For pudding there was a good selection which changes daily. We had cherry clafoutie, chocolate fondant and strawberries with ice cream. All of which were served with Chantilly cream. Two courses and copious wine came to just under £25 each which is pretty much on a par with a decent restaurant back into the UK. The restaurant is small, but bright and cheerful inside. Service was a little slow to start with but given there were 20 diners who all needed feeding with fresh food it was hardly a surprise that there was a bit of a wait. We had a lovely relaxed evening and would thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely informal restaurant, averagely priced, service a little slow but it was a busy night and the only restaurant open on a Sunday evening. Would definitely visit again.

Robert, one of the owners and the cook, deceased last month, after selling the business because of his illness. Not met the new owner nor tested the restaurant yet.
