There are new owners here now, after decades of the previous owner. It's nice to see it busy, we went on a Friday night with friends and were pleased to see that rather than it just being a traditional 4 course meal you can have starter, main and dessert. There is a small selection of these plats, but there is a wide range of choice of meat. Our party of 4 had the duck and veal. Both of which came served with a small portion of veg, frites and mash. The portions were a pleasant size, not being too large or small. The quality of the meat was excellent, in particular the veal was beautiful. For pudding there was a good selection which changes daily. We had cherry clafoutie, chocolate fondant and strawberries with ice cream. All of which were served with Chantilly cream. Two courses and copious wine came to just under £25 each which is pretty much on a par with a decent restaurant back into the UK. The restaurant is small, but bright and cheerful inside. Service was a little slow to start with but given there were 20 diners who all needed feeding with fresh food it was hardly a surprise that there was a bit of a wait. We had a lovely relaxed evening and would thoroughly recommend it.
