Le Vin'Quatre Réserver une table

We saw a recommendation in FlyBe magazine on way to Bergerac and went for Sunday lunch. Restaurant is run by hard working but friendly couple Melanie (French, front of house) and Charlie (Essex, awesome chef). Service, food, style and atmosphere were all top notch - pretty much Michelin 1 star but at only 32 euros for 3 courses - amazing value. We booked again for our last night on holiday and food was stunning - foie gras with Monbazillac gel, then rare beef with celeriac and beetroot, tarte tatin to finish. Great value wine list too though we treated ourselves to St Emilion grand cru classe from their specials page on the last night. Will eat there again when we return to France! By far the best meals we had in our 2 week holiday.

Nous avions choisi ce restaurant sur l'appli et sa notation. Si sa localisation déçoit au premier abord, est ce que ce n' est pas un bien que de cacher cette pépite.Tout est parfait... De l'heure du rdv 20h30 ;-) à l'annonce des plats, aux cuissons, aux petits accords du chef. Tout est digne d'un semi gastro à un prix justifié tout en privilégiant les circuits courts. Menu 32€ carte des vins 20/28€.Ce fut une belle découverte et nous y retournons.

Nous avons pris un menu entrée plat dessert et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les plats sont justement assaisonné et si vous ne savez pas quel vin choisir Mélanie saura parfaitement vous conseiller ! Une table à faire à Bergerac !

The restaurant is in the old part of the town. The service was excellent and it was very pleasant to fo find the chef asking how we had found the food. Superb.

Ate here on our last night in Bergerac and had a fantastic meal and evening. Food was experimental and creative - and delicious. Tempura turbot was our personal highlight.Le Vin'Quatre is clearly gaining a very good reputation in the area, which is thoroughly deserved.We will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area.

Yert again an absolutely stunning meal. Melanie advised us on the best time to arrive so as not to be kept waiting by 2 large parties -so thoughtful. This meant we arrived to sit outside with our glasses of cold champagne of excellent quality. This started the evening off on a good note but nothing could propare us for what was to follow - an absolutely stunning and outstanding meal. A gazpachio soup with fresh crab meat to die for - so fresh and seasoned to perfection. Followed by an absoluely perfectly cooked turbot in a batter coating served with polenta chip: fish and chips that knocks anything the UK serves up into a cocked hat. And the, to finish it off, a Nutella chocolate ganache served with a perfect sorbet. Words cannot do justice to this meal - it was momentous and certainly surpassed any meal we have had recently within 30Km of Bergerac. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

A lovely quiet restaurant situation away from the main busy tourist areas. A superb meal - three courses all equally as delicious as each other. Wonderful service from Melanie and superb cooking by Charlie. This is a little gem which has turned our great holiday into a wonderful holiday. We have booked to return again. We had Lamb Kofte and Courgette and feta to start, we both had the beef with beetroot which was amazing, followed by crime brûlée and cheese. Great selection of wine to suit all budgets. Quality of food, service, location all absolutely first class quality.
