As we were staying for one night at the nearby Hotel B&B this seemed the only option for dinner. The place was packed but no problem a table was found and we were made to feel very welcome. Food was good, plentiful and good value. Don't let the owner talk you in to trying some of his 'special' rum. It'll blow your head off.

Visited without a booking. We were welcomed and seated immediately.Several options for both adults and children. Food was wonderful. The children enjoyed the buffet starter and desserts. Main courses were excellent. Very good value and good portions. We shall be back on our return journey.

Great restaurant. 5 minute walk from The Akena. Friendly staff. Good food. Nice clean environment. I thought it would be empty because it seems In the middle of nowhere but it soon filled up.

We arrived late at the nearby Akena hotel and were directed to this restaurant.Despite arriving at nearly 10pm we were given a good meal and weren't hurried. Food was good. Waitress was friendly. Decor was impressive -- obviously a new place in a recently developed area.

We tried to visit twice. First time, the food and service was good. Second time, they were closed. It was a Saturday evening and we were not the only family outside wondering why they were not open, despite the times on the door showing they should be.

The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or charming. The food was very good value and my teenager boys were very impressed with the authentic homemade burgers and chips - particularly as they ordered the burger cooked medium rare. My wife's entrecote was very flavoursome (yes from the fat!) but a little too medium than medium rare - perhaps because of the expectation of the english liking their meat cooked well done! My goats cheese salad was perfect. The recommendation of the Cafe Gourmand was inspired - espresso with 5 mini desserts was superb. The local beer (shame on us for not drinking champagne in Reims) was also first class. With wine and water the total bill was a reasonable EUR85 for the 4 of us (2 courses each) and we got 10% off for staying at the local hotel. We would definitely come back on the next stoppover and recommend it. We had low expectations from some of the reviewers comments (hence we avoided the buffets) but were very pleasantly surprised.

We saw this restaurant near to our hotel and on the last of our 3 nights decided to drop in and sample some of the cuisine. We'd had a nice lunch in Reims earlier so only wanted a desert perhaps and some coffee. In the event we had a cheese course (brilliant) and a cafe gourmand. It was terrific and the bar and waiting staff could have not been more pleasant and welcoming to us even though we didn't have a full meal there.Because we arrived late we were one of the last customers in the restaurant towards closing time and the manager came over himself and chatted merrily with us. We're just sorry we didn't go there on previous evenings! Highly recommended.
