Staffs, Boss, Place, food, everything is so surprising. We were in Bordeaux for business for 2 weeks, as soon as we found this place (the 3rd day) we decided to come for every lunch. So exquisite! We had new menu everyday, so tasteful! The team looks to work in peace and friendship however the crowd, joking or just speaking with everybody. Nice place like home with friends!!! It's better to book by the way, we were not the only ones to eat there!

The whole dinner experience at Le Bistrot des Anges was fabulous. The decor, atmospehere, staff and of course the food were great. We felt really welcome and this was by far the best food we had on our trip to Bordeaux. I highly recommend it.

Arrived quite late into service - got only available table. The waitress was a star really helpful, very pleasant and good sense of humour - even when I broke the menu .1st trip to Bordeaux and 1st trip to bistro. Would come again.Menu limited due to time, but cod sushi starter was lovey and my steak was good, my husband had same starter and ?bass (Merlu) main, he enjoyed that too. Choice of glass of wine or coffee with menu - needless to say, I chose wine .

Very crowed place on a very hot Thursday evening. Very friendly staff found us a table for 4. Nice tapas and wine list, staff very efficient and professional. Our waiter was from Canada and very impressive on his first day at this restaurant.... absolutely recommend this place

Very busy for mid week. I had the duck which couldn't be faulted. Huge portion but tender to the last mouthful. We also had onglet steak which was a bit fatty, but fat equals flavour!!

Ate here and had the salmon gravalax or equivalent, with a wasabi touch. Salmon nice and fine for the price. I had the entrecote, which was asked for medium rare. This was fine but the steak wasn't rendered, so this left huge amounts of fat, about 20% or more of the steak. Very little salad but what there was, was nice. Chips were more like wedges but were nice and warm. I found the glass of wine a bit on the small side for the price. All in all an okay meal for the price.Really need to do something with the toilet door in that my table happened to be facing it and it was not pleasant when people did not close the door properly after using it.Would I recommend. Sure food was okay and staff were very nice.

Great food, great service for a great price (14 euro for an entree+main meal+ either wine or coffee) for 2 euro extra you get dessert too....The food was fantastic. The place is away from touristy areas and was packed for lunch by locals and folks on their lunch break. A very good sign for a place to eat.

Enjoy the fun of this place. Tapas are great. For diner, it is a little bit different. You need to be prepared to wait. The kitchen seems to have time for dinner only after 9 30 pm. Before, the bar is obviously on top and has priority over you. Once you get your meal, do not expect to be surprised. Classical with nothing to say "wow". Wines are ok. Service is slow but extremely friendly. They do not expect you to be in a hurry. So be patient.
