This is an excellent little place. As one reviewer has already pointed out opening at 6.30 is a bonus compared with the norm. Great food and sizes of portions. Takeaway away at one end and small restaurant works well. My French is the standard of a school boy so a Japanese ingredients translated into English on the menu was much appreciated. Water with dinner well received. Proper cutlery too if you get worn out using chopsticks. Authentic experience and entertainment for kids watching food cooked in front of you.

While the rest of Bordeaux waits until 1930 to open for food Fufu opens at 1830. On the night we went the place was full by 1835 but the food came quickly with friendly Japanese service. Good food, quickly delivered at a good price..... and open earlier than the rest. Just what I needed.

An atmospheric and good-value Japanese noodle bar where you can sit at the counter and watch the cooks juggle flaming woks. But my fried soba noodles with prawn & vegetables had a mainly burned flavour.

I tried this restaurant for the first time and it didn't make me dream. Their noodles had no taste, the broth was flavorless and the food just didn't do it for us.In addition, the chairs are glued to a long table, which makes it VERY uncomfortable to eat if you're a little taller than the average.Another turn off for us was that their kitchen was dirty!!! If you're having an open space, you really make an effort to keep it spotless. You could see the chunks of grease next to all the corners... just not appealing. I understand that they use a lot of oil, but the grease was accumulated from months! I tried again as our friends said that was good a couple of months later but still... nothing. I would try different options if you're in Bordeaux.. you aren't missing anything!!! Sorry!

Both the yakisoba and ramen were delicious and a very affordable lunch. The ramen is chicken broth rather than pork but is very tasty!

the homemade noodles are quite good, but the broth was weak. a true ramen shop has a good bone broth, Fufu doesn't deliver on this. service + staff all very friendly. tasty enough, but nothing close to the real deal.

The small Japanese ramen place is 3 minutes walk from the river, located on one of the busiest streets in the city. The food is excellent, no doubt about that! Highly recommended!

I ate here two nights running, as the food was excellent, the atmosphere bright and the service super friendly. All in all, fantastic value for money.
