As a chef myself, I found the food at Le Liban Bordeaux amazing and extremely delicious. The owner and his wife were very friendly and the cleanliness of their kitchen is fantastic. Thumbs up and compliments to the chef ????

The significant number of bad reviews in French all relate to the service, and we now know why. When we sat down the lady came over, not to welcome us, but to warn us that they were very busy, and Lebanese food takes time, so we need to be patient. Actually how much time does it take to put a spoon of houmous on a plate? Anyway, we had time, but not a huge appetite. A meze to share seemed ideal. There were about six meze dishes priced at 20-29 euros for "one person" and at 48 for two persons. But we thought the 29 euro meze for one person would do us fine. Unfortunately it didn't do the restaurant fine. No sir, it's not possible. That's ridiculous. The whole idea of a Meze is its a selection of small dishes which two or more people share. Presumably if we'd ordered the same dishes a la carte, there would have been no problem, but of course we'd have paid twice as much. That of course is the point. I have never come across such a thing. Lamentable attitude. We walked out. I'll give it two stars on the basis that the food looked nice, but be warned, we are not the only ones to think the service stinks, check the French reviews

I am Lebanese. My mother is a star cook. My aunt (who trained in part with my mom) was the sous chef catering Celine Dion's Lebanese wedding. I ate at Le Liban with my mom, dad, and brother. We are very demanding eaters and harsh critics. This is the BEST Lebanese restaurant outside of Lebanon. We all had the Saida Mezze. The fatouche salad was spot on, each of the grills was near perfect. The kefta brochette grill is a particular treat. The hummus is impeccable. The pita bread fresh (you can tell this eg by the way the two sides easily come apart). In a word EXCELLENT. Eat here people!

Very friendly welcome, even though we turned up at 10pm, she was very happy to take us. Food was tasty and good value for money for a very wide selection of mezzes – one of the menus we ordered was meat based and the other was vegetarian. Both were very good. The stuffed vine leaves tasted very homemade, which was nice. The restaurant us tucked away down a side street, but we found it quite charming once inside.

This small restaurant on the street du ha is one of the best on the edges if you want to try Lebanese cuisine. the chef is a gastronomic personality of the region, which prepares a large assortment of mezze, small hot and cold dishes that are shared and in general eaten simply with the bread. There are several menus, to try everything is the best option. accompanied by Lebanese wine, of original flavor. the restaurant opens at half a day and night, closing between the two. the place is usually full, even if it is a discreet facade on a small street, if you can call to book, better.

Antipathic personnel. We're starving. I'm upset because we didn't know French.
