We've been there with a group of nine and our overall experience with Le24 was far below the other restaurants we've been in Corte. Service is friendly but not very professional. From nine main courses four came with a delay of more than 10 minutes. Also the dessert - two people got their dessert with a big delayQuality and taste of the meals had a wide variety. Pasta was good, fish was OK, entrecote was very dry and far away from "medium" as ordered. Dessert was all good. If we compare quality of food and service with other restaurants we've been in Corte, the Le24 appears to be overpriced. At 21:00 the music volume was turned up and was killing all conversation. That might suit for a bar or a disco, at a restaurant such noisy music sucks. Our conclusion: We will stay away from Le24. There are many better choices in Corte.
From, what "looked" to be a decent restaurant, turned out to be the worse meal we had on Corsica,,All 5 of us had the steak,, paid a fair price, to be served a very poor cut of meat,, full of fat and gristle, and not just one of us,, all were just as bad,, staff did not want to know !!
One week in January in Corse and have eaten two times in the place - do not miss the homemade burgers !!! The fish was fantastic and of a high quality. The selection of wines is the best any restaurant has offered on the island. In general, it was the best restaurant we tried, we were two times in Corse in various locations. Should not definitely miss this place !
On our last day on the island, we visited this restaurant. We took a few starters, and the went all in, and ordered the biggest lobster in the small aquarium in the restaurant. I must say that it was the best cooked lobster that I've had. The staff were very helpful and professional.
After strolling through the main street in Corte we ended up in Le 24. And it was an excellent choice. The service was good even though our French is not very good and the waiter was struggling with his English.I had the best roasted duck ever and we shared a desert with the two of us because the portions are ‘tres grande’.The interior is a combination of old and modern, stone walls and nice modern decoration and lights. Good for a romantic dinner for two, but there were also groups of 4 or more eating.
