Well hidden restaurant with interesting provencial food and good service. The starter was with goat cheese and vegetables. Main course a perfectly prepered fish. And at last good cheese and dessert. I recommand to try this place.

Our set meal started very well. A really tasty opening course of asparagus. Next came the steak which was perfect for my husband but mine was very blue when I had asked for pink . They took it away and replaced it with a piece that was frankly inedible - all sinew. This was quite unlike my husbands which was a solid piece of steak cooked perfectly. I explained to the waitress that whilst I didn't want to make a fuss this was a really bad piece of meat that I could not eat. She merely shrugged her shoulders. The dessert was fine. When it came to paying I said I was happy to pay the full price for my husbands meal and for our wine and for my starter and dessert but I did not feel it was acceptable to pay for the meat that I had twice sent back as unacceptable. The waitress was adamant that there would be no reduction and with her appealing to a French audience I had no choice but to pay the amount she demanded. This was a shame because so much of the meal and the ambience was good but a restaurant should recognise when there is a customer complaint and respond more professionally. I am not in the habit of complaining and on holiday want to enjoy my meals without having to make a fuss!

Menu for 24 or 29 euro (last menu 4 courses incl. Cheese!!!). Everything fresh and tastefull, we liked it very much. Not high "kitchen" but for the price a very - very good meal. With friendly staff.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much, we ate here twice during our week's stay in Fontvieille. It's a manageable menu with not too many dishes plus a couple of specials each day, over which the owners clearly take care to get right. The cod and tripe specials were both delicious and my favourite 'dishes of the week'. The décor and presentation is light, simple and refined without being in any way stuffy or pretentious. The service was excellent - the owner is very friendly and speaks fluent English - she cheerfully came downstairs on her evening off, when the waitress realised we didn't speak French.

We were booked into this delightful little restaurant as part of a cycle tour. The Madame was very welcoming and made us feel at home. It is a family run restaurant and they serve delicious french cuisine made with love. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here and rate this restaurant very highly. Be sure to dine here if you are visiting the Fontvieille area. We certainly hope that we might return ourselves one day.

Came in late Wednesday night, very warm and charming little restaurant. Ordered a small salad and 2 Raviolis, and for Deseret the apple crumble. Everything was excellent and fresh. Owner was super nice and speaks English fluently. Go eat there!

Another fantastic little restaurant run by a husband and wife team in Fontvielle. We went twice and had a great experience both times with fabulous food and their own label wines. Madame speaks good English and is very friendly. The food is well presented, tasty and high quality. Deserts are especially good. We loved this restaurant and were staying at the hotel just over the road.Extremely well recommended.

We have been for dinner and the athmosphere in this tiny restaurant was a welcome change to the Michelin-starred places we have visited before. The quality of the food is excellent and you can't argue the prices. The portions are well sized and I would describe the style ad rustic, traditional and tasty. Well worth a visit.
