The main restaurant upstairs was closed so we were downstairs in the Cafe 14.The restaurant across the road was full so we had to come here instead. We had eaten in this restaurant many years before and it was very goodThere were two other people inside, never a good sign. There was a young person behind the bar,he didn't welcome us but did answer our questions. The restaurant was cold on a very cold day and then we discovered that the rest rooms were out of order, so we had to walk across the street to a public toilet! We decided to have a set lunch menu but we're told that none were available, only single dishes. The service was now really bad and given by a " Waiter" who ,obviously had never been trained correctly. We ordered the scallops.I asked for two glasses of Chardonnay, after a long pause the waiter said " we've got white wine"...this boy is good!No bread or water was offered and eventually the scallops arrived.....they were cold and had been badly cleaned. After asking 3 times for bread it arrived just as we were finishing. No apology. We decided that we would would finish the meal with that one course. On explaining to the waiter our bad experience and the very poor quality of the meal....he said nothing! But simply pulled a face. No apologies, I fact he said nothing. We noticed a your girl in the kitchen....the chef?We came to the conclusion that the Patron was on Christmas holiday and that these two badly trained individuals were left to keep the place runningThis was a really bad experience

Thought we would try out this place as it had a great view and we could keep a look out on our bikes. The menu looked good so in we went. No one at reception but we eventually found a gent who looked at us then walked over to the other side of the restaurant and out of sight. We poked our heads round the corner and saw him beckoning us to come over, gestured that this was our table and gave us the menus. Hardly a word spoken too far, ordered the food which was not inexpensive, 30eu for a turbot. Treat ourselves we thought but when it eventually came we it turned out to be dry and not much of it. The service was poor, unfriendly and the food overpriced and more akin to fast food. Not a patch on the meal we had at the hotel Alsatian in Carentan.

Our airbnb host suggested this restaurant for dinner. The food, wine and view were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This year the fish is excellent served with rice and vegetables in a creamy Normandy sauce. Also the apple tart is great with a little sea salt caramel on top. The rosé wines are excellent by the pitcher.they also have good mussels and fries.

We showed up around 10:00 on a Saturday, after finding everything was closed in Vierville Sur Mer. Even though they were on the verge of closing as well, they made us a couple of pizzas to go, which were delicious. Oddly to me, almost all their pizzas come with black olives, which I don't care for, but there were only a few and they were large pieces, easy to pick off. This restaurant was also able to bottle their house wine for us to take to go. Very friendly staff and if you ate on the terrace, you would have a great view of the boats in the harbor.

Visited this restaurant for a seafood lunch during our Normandy holiday. We weren't disappointed. Delicious food, I had sauerkraut and seafood which was really tasty, two members of our party enjoyed ray wings. Excellent service and they were particularly helpful and accommodating of our 2 and half year old. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good seafood feast!

Great location. Xlnt service and the finest seafood in town. Just off of the boat-literally. Situated on the wharf overlooking the fishing fleet. Unhurried but effective service and a comfortable atmosphere. Indoors and outdoors seating. Family friendly. Xlnt wine list

Our tour group stopped for lunch at this restaurant overlooking a small boat harbor in Normandie. The food was excellent and the service very good considering our large group.
