Very warm welcome and very good and tasty food. Visited with family; parents ate oysters, which were delicious; remaining food was good and well prepared. Recommendable on your way to pointe du hoc.

My daughter and I had an early dinner one night. The food was excellent - she had the duo fish filet and I had the scallops. Both dishes were delicious. Ambiance was nice and the owner very charming. Would recommend.

Our tour guide took us to this restaurant. there are times when you get skeptical of the guide's choice. But not this time. From the greeting we received to the farewell. we were treated very well and more importantly, fed excellent food. Scallops are a favorite of mine and I was served one of the best tasting scallops here. The other members of my family had fish and they too were very pleased with their orders. We agreed that the preparation was delicate and did not smell or taste overpowering. The place is small yet comfortable. the service was of the right level. In the end we were even given a container of caramels - a nice Norman touch. And when I received the bill, I had to take a double look because it was certainly less than what I expected to pay for food of that quallity. Look for this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped here by chance as we were having trouble finding a place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised. For 18 euro we had an appetizer a dinner and a desert, all which were very good. The service was very good with of course kindly French advice on what to order and even how to eat various things. A very good authentic French experience and food

All is good here, including the prices. Other dining had pricing and other issues, none here. Try the Sea Snails if available and adventurous. Try everything, including the desserts, wow.

We were pleased to find this restaurant open on the Monday evening before our return to UK. We had the very typical ( but not always easy to find) Normandy experience - first rate food and wine served in a relaxed and unpretentiuos manner in an informal setting at a fair price.

Recommended by our tour guide for lunch during our Normandy beaches tour. Turned out to be an excellent choice. This is the epitome of the French restaurant just off the harbor in a small fishing village town. Table cloths and napkins made it feel almost elegant. Excellent service from the host/waiter. I chose the seafood salad which was on the daily special menu. What a great cold salad full of different seafood items including scallops, shrimp, mussels, fish. Along with a glass of white wine and bread this was an excellent meal and very reasonable. Sure beat the other choice of a pizza joint.

This restaurant specializes in sea-food and through the use of a limited selections and standardizing all the ad-ons on the plate, they offer very good value for money. The 25 euro menu was certainly a good choise. 14 euro for a caraf of average white wine is slightly overexpensive. Will return and can recommend even though better restaurants are available in Grandcamp but then in a higher price range.
