It is a very cosy restaurant in Meribel right on the slopes we chose for having lunch.As the weather was nice we could sit outside (that is why I love skiing in France).It is a self-service restaurant so you have to go inside for your meal. There is different queue for drinks and snacks. The food was really good, especially the „plat du jour” and a coffee was not bad either.
While the setting is nice, the convenient location and prices are correct, any proportion kept, since it is an altitude restaurant intended to make its C.A. on the few few months of the winter season. but unless you are a loving hygiene inspector skiing and believing that you have seen everything in your professional life, pass your path!!! arrived before noon, I was able to attend the preparation of the home burger and fries that accompany it without being disturbed by the influx of the world. and what a show!if the staff is polite, without going to the courtesy, it is totally alien to any notion of hygiene!Noved to arrive there, but the clothing and bodily cleanliness seem to be totally unknown notions of these kitchen employees. As for the kitchen, it is in such a deplorable state. what else must scare the chef from time to time because precisely this noon, before handling with already disgusting hands every ingredient of my burger, he thought it was good to wipe a shelf with a slender cloth!!! and of course, no hand washing in time it would waste water and soap. Once this show is appreciated, and as you have already settled, you have only to insure your pity by praying not to catch any food poisoning. and I don't talk to you about the ingredients, their quality and how they are warmed. so yes the terrace is pleasant, when it is beautiful, to lay you and drink a drink, but hold in there. As for the share of blueberry pie at 6.50 €, given the quality and quantity, avoid also. Is it really a shame to take the holidaymakers for pigeons and what do the hygiene services???? they have the vertigo that they do not rise so high??
ideal for a little break. the price of the consumables remains reasonable compared to other establishments...(Crepe crêpe hot chocolate at 6€, in other establishments the chocolate is at 6.5€ the tea at 6.5€ !! ) fast and efficient service. There are decks. ideal when it looks beautiful.
It's the 50th year I'm coming to Meribel. The rhodos is part of the historic altitude restos. It is well located because well sheltered, a south facing terrace and no no no no noisy mechanical lift around. Self-service is efficient and the choice is correct. The room is well optimized for reception in case of bad weather. Prices and quality are very correct for this type of restaurants. That's why I'm 4 in that context. I recommend it.
