Bonjour, on nous a dit à propos de ce restaurant le saint blaise, nous n'avons pas été déçus, excellent à n'importe quel point cadre, réception, service, repas, tout était parfait bravo au cuisinier. , nous reviendrons pour sûr ps une mention spéciale pour le serveur
We had the opportunity to eat here on the second day of our hike from Oloron Saint Marie to St. Jean Pied-de-Port. The setting is ideal...small town, views of the old church, shady terrace. But the food was probably the best meal we had on our entire trip. The service was outstanding and we felt like they were there just for us. You simply should not miss this restaurant.
Summer time this restaurant has the very best shady terrace. Winter time the inside is comfortable. Service is very friendly and good which is a big bonus in France. The foos was hearty traditional meals and good sized portions. There is a free Carbure Starter which is an old fashioned farm house soup.
In a terrace under two large plane trees with the Romanesque church in vew there is this good road stop. No parking problem and sedate grounds to enjoy one of their menus at reasonable prices. We chose one with the goat cheese salad and the fresh pan seared trout that was quite satifying, particularly since the trout was very fressh. The outside terrace is great but inside is rather gloomy and as usual in small towns paying with a credit card is a challenge due to poor computer connections. Ohterwise, the peacefull setting and the visit to the XII century church, a site of stoppage for those in the Way of Santiago is a must. indeed this jewell can be accessed at will and the interior boast a rarity in this side of the Pyrenees a cupula of moorish design.
