We have been numerous times to le Saint-Blaise and this is one of the best restaurants in the area. The overall dining experience is excellent and comes at a modest price. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere; the service is swift while the staff are friendly and courteous. The restaurant offers a varied selection of traditional Béarn cuisine with a selection of several fixed price menus and a la carte with a wine list offering good local wine. It also offers a magnificent view of the 12th century Eglise de le Hôpital St. Blaise from the outdoor terrace that is discreetly lit up at night time that adds to the magic of the restaurant.
We have fairly frequently visited The Restaurant Le Saint-Blaise and are never disappointed. It is exceptional. Sitting on the terrace over-looking the, UNSCO heritage, church immediately has the makings of a good evening, this combined with high quality local food and excellent service turns it into a memorable one. Isabelle and Yvan listen to what visitors want and really go out of their way to try to make it happen. We were, once again, impressed.
Summer time this restaurant has the very best shady terrace. Winter time the inside is comfortable. Service is very friendly and good which is a big bonus in France. The foos was hearty traditional meals and good sized portions. There is a free Carbure Starter which is an old fashioned farm house soup.
Une patronne qui se démène comme elle peut. Elle y arrive très bien. Dans un cadre qui devrait être rafraîchi tout comme les chambres, vous serez très bien reçu, vous y mangerez très bien avec un très bon rapport-qualité-prix avec vue imprenable sur l’église Romane classée. Merci Madame.
