With no pre booking, and a group of 15 of us, the le grand cafe was very accommodating. It was busy as the evening market was on. All the food was good, but the pizzas were especially good. Service was quick and helpful. Not the best, but by no means bad. Good food at good prices.

We first visited as a family of four and arrived just before they were starting to serve food. Waiter/waitresses were great, very attentive and opened the kitchen early for our young family. Meals (pizza for the children and entrecôte and fries for adults) was lovely. Sadly our second visit with a larger group (15 adults and children) a week later wasn't great. Service was still very attentive but the food (entrecôte) was awful, mostly fat and very undercooked for everyone. Pizzas were very good again though. The toilets were also very dirty and not at all pleasant to use. Such a shame as our first visit was great!

Very long service, it doesn't follow in the kitchen! damage because the terrace is very pleasant and the dishes very good.

After wandering the Place, checking menues, chose this restaurant, sitting outside...waitress was attentive, extremely pleasant and served us well...the meal was adequate, the wine OK...the best meal of 3 on the Place

A group of nine of use had a great lunch here. There was plenty of choice on the menu and we all enjoyed the food. the were some local dishes on offer, but mainly what you would expect from a French restaurant. the moues frites were very good, I had steak that was pretty good. I had ordered it bleu and it was cooked brilliantly, but was cold by the time I was served it.Pretty much on a par with the other places around the square, although the tapas places seemed expensive compared to Spain or even the UK.Very good coffee to end the lunch.

After being unfriendly received, the food of the same quality was returned hamburger for cold, pizza burned.

I'm used to giving rather good addresses but here frankly I made the promise that if I'm re-proposing dishes like those I pay my aperitives and go. we chose my husband and I fried mussels, or rather the Belgian formula to 19.90 €. Moules/frites, a glass of wine or a beer and a dessert. the mussels had to be prepared in the afternoon and warmed at the last moment because archi-cooks (it's true that it's so long to open mussels!!!) in addition they were hyper salted (I love salt believe me that it was awful!) my son was entitled to a poor share of bologna lasagnas barely frozen! its dessert in a child menu at 10 € was either an iced stick (even no choice to take a ball of ice) or a chocolate mousse. the English next to them had the right to a burned pizza and all the plates on the next tables went away without being empty! Pity if you're going to the limousy don't go there! I put three days to digest the €60.30 I left to these people!
