This is our 2nd bouchon restaurant in 2 days. After the first one at the Chabert & fils in rue des Maronniers, I honestly did not know what to expect from the service in restaurants in Lyon. As much as the waiters and especially the waitress in Chabert were unprofessional, mean and un respectful of their patrons, the waitress at the Francois Villon was the complete opposite. She was nice, gave us good advice on picking food.Food that we had were very good, very tasty (4 dishes: gambas; andouillette; salade lyonnaise; salade d'orange). Portions were generous. And they even offered some "gratons" to snack while waiting for the first dish.Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend this place. One more point: we were there around 20:00, and the restaurant was busy but not too busy. Everyone who came in had a table immediately. This is important to note, because by reading the other comments, it seems clear that the mood of the service depends of how busy the waiters are. In this particular time, there were enough waiters to attend properly and professionally to all the patrons.
