We were 8 colleagues walking in The neighborhood of this place and we pushed the door without knowibg what to expectFirst you are warmly welcome, different from any usual restaurant Then you discover a menu, that is much more that surprising (jokes, items that are completly different that what it is written)And you end with a very good dinnerGreat place
A friend recommended this spectacular place he stumbled upon coming down from the Amphitheatre. Feeling obliged to check it out I was pleased it was the other way from the tourist traps, and it looked friendly enough. It was more than friendly by the time I sat down and ordered. I was blown away by a simple dish (Chaud et froid), where the wine sauce on the egg on toast made a simple dish really very good. The tagine I ordered was of an order more fabulous than the much more fancy and 4 times more expensive Sud. I stayed for a night cap chatting with friendly locals. Dont you all overwhelm the place at the same time as it is small, as as everything in Lyon that is small, you will want to make a reservation over the week's end through weekend.
Went there with some friends near the end of our Lyon study abroad. Good food with a lot of options. Had some vegetarians with us, and the owner offered to make them something else off the menu which was very kind. However, their food was average in the end. Small portions. I've gone to other places that gave more portions for an extra euro (better off doing that).
We went here for dinner on our second night in Lyon.The service was amazing and the food and its presentation was amazing! I highly recommend you walk the extra 100 or so metres and check out this place. This place is so much better then the restaurants you will find in the main street of the old town.
That's as good as you'll want! Tasty reasonably priced and lovely service. This is the second time we've eaton here and both times have been excellent! On more time and it goes on our list as a favorite. I had the souris d'agneau and Jane had the house burger. Both wee gorge.
