We had both lunch and dinner at La Squadra and were very pleased with the quality of the food (Salade Lyonnaise, Pave de Saumon, Ravioles au Cepes and Creme Brulee). As it was a warm summer day, we dined outside in the plazza. Service was prompt and friendly and of course the wine and beer complemented the local atmosphere. This restaurant seems popular with locals - both groups and couples. It shares the square (actually an outdoor triangle) with several other outdoor/indoor brasseries and restaurants. It is located very near a Lyon Tram stop in the Part-Dieu area. It is well away from the busy street so reasonably quiet. The awnings provide good shade from the mid-day sun.To get the bill, at least for lunch, the local custom seems to be to go inside and settle at the cash.

I order 1 salmon pizza, and served less than 10 minutes later. We went to this restaurant when we got out of a show. We were welcomed and served quickly. my friend took a pizza 4 cheeses he wanted a chicken supplement... 3rd! and we're looking for it again!
