In a cluster of busy restaurants la Pergola provided us with great value and a great night out. It's quite busy but was managed by an excellent female chef and a waiter who's never less than busy. There were about 24 people being served in groups and couples. Like us they were all having a very good time. My starter of mussels and cocked cooked in their shells was exquisite as was my wife's fish soup. The main course of three lamb cutlets each with potatoes and and salad were lovely as was the desserts to follow. The cost at 50 euros for two including wine was exceptional value for a quality evening meal. The chef worked her socks off and provided exceptional quality food.
The restaurant offers a broad range of cuisine but has 'wok' as its speciality. We initially thought that it was rather pricy (18euros) for what is essentially a noodle stir fry but the quality of the ingredients and the portion sizes made us happy we had splashed out. I had Wok de la Mer - scallops, mussles and langoustine in a mild curry sauce. Delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. A welcome addition to the usual pizza and moules frites restaurants in town.
We paid a visit here this week (family of 5 English spoken) and had a great meal and a nice service. We were lucky that we came in without booking, the restaurant was very busy within an hour of the opening. I myself and my partner had the mules and frits and he was massive and tasty. They tasted even better with the chilled house rose. Very recommended, thank you
We visited this restaurant as a family for a meal (2 adults 2 children aged 11 12). The service in the restaurant was enormous everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food was presented to a great standard and the tastes were...amazing (the duck was very good). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Notre Dame des Monts, while prices may be slightly higher than some other restaurants that make quality of food and service this worth. We will definitely visit again when in ND of Monts.
We went here for lunch during the holiday in August. The food was good. My sons had both amazing crepes and my wife had a beautiful gallette. I chose some Moule Frites who were beautiful and parts all round were great. The staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend this place.
