We had a fantastic meal here. Seafood pasta, steak, chocolate mousse, delicious house-wine... Really good value, lovely atmosphere, you can see the sea from the restaurant even though it's set back from the front. Very family friendly, although I'd happily go to it as a couple as well. Worth a visit if you're in Notre Dame. The staff were lovely and it felt pretty authentic in terms of its Frenchness (although I don't think anyone could understand my French regardless of who I was talking to!). Bon appetite!
We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Notre Dame De Monts with friends and family.Service was fine, however, the waitress did not speak a word of English and the menu was in French and there were no English translations. Lucky for us one of our party could speak French and we were able to order what we wanted.The menu was quite extensive, ranging from pizza, pasta and French cuisine. The food was averagely presented, however, I found the taste very bland and uninspiring. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was presented with a raw egg, however, it was almost inedible due to the overpowering taste of smoked bacon which was very undercooked and fatty.Dessert was a disappointment too, the profiteroles were filled with ice cream and the pastry very bland and hard.Prices were reasonable, however, for the overall experience and the problems with our food, I did not feel it was good value at all.
There's a good value "menu" but pizza and pasta seem to be the main choice. My pasta was piping hot and cooked to,order ( not microwaved) and my husband's pizza was hot and crisp. What more is there to say? It's not pretentious but you get what you expect and a bit more.
