Busy at lunchtime, staff and clientele friendly, including towards our dog. Had their speciality dish, calf's head, which was plentiful and very nice, plenty of gribiche sauce. Also accompanied by a good selection of vegetables, which were also well cooked, apart from the greens which...might have been better cooked separately instead of all presumably boiled together. Jambonneau (thick slice of ham) starter was a good size and nice. Cheese platter, which was well stocked, was somewhat disappointing in the choices; all rather bland apart from the blue, which was very good. There were two different goat cheeses, so if you like that, there you go. Dessert was clearly home made, a bavarois, nice end to a pleasant relaxed meal. for four courses, what's not to like. An unusual touch here is that, each morning, they announce on Facebook their proposed starter and main course/s for that day. Great idea!
