This is my go-to restaurant for lunch with the ladies (we ALL always choose the menu of the day - fabulous food, beautifully presented at good value -usually 23 euros for entree/plat/dessert). I booked for dinner with friends visiting from Paris and wasn't sure what to expect for the evening. After over a year of flawless service I needn't have worried. It was just as fun and tasty in the evening except there were four choices in each category creating a large possibility of combinations sure to please every palate. The local wine suggested was the perfect pairing. A memorable evening.
Only a short stay in Pau, I was thankfully taken here for lunch by a friend (thank you Cindy:)... First, you will be seduced by the thoughtful, very creative interior decor. It's a restaurant that could fit beautifully in London, Paris or New York and would make people talk. Not pretentious, just stylish. Secondly, you dine with space around you. No claustrophobic feelings like in some restaurants. Next, the service is on point, we asked about the differences in wine and we were given a clear response...Finally, the food. Prepare for your eyes to widen at the artistic presentation, then submit to the wonderful flavours, textures and colours. One of the highlights of my trip, I truly recommend you give it a try.
