A really yummy experience this restaurant is very popular with French and English visitors. The children love the crepes which and very varied one is spoilt for choice. The location is idyllic, beside the river bank and a choice of eating inside or outside under a canopy for shade from the sun.

We have had galettes for lunch most days while cycling in Brittany. These were the best, light and not greasy, with a very good range of fillings. Lots of tables, only a few occupied in early July, but imagine in the season wil get very busy, as located on the riverside cycle path to Pontivy. French patrons arrive at 12 noon, so need arrive then to be sure of table.

I'm surprised that anyone has rated this as only average. I thought it was a little gem of a restaurant, obviously popular as most of the tables were full only minutes after opening and stayed that way throughout our meal. A wide range of crepes to choose from and some very good house cider. Everything feels full of character thanks to the smart wooden panelling and good lighting. There were highchairs available (not always the case in Brittany we found - and no real baby-change, which also seemed common) and a toddler play corner, which made us feel welcome with our toddler and baby.

Very tasty gallettes and crepes and not expensive. Absolute bedlam when we visited however with the interior and exterior full to bursting with either people eating or waiting for a table ! Nobody acknowledged us as we entered the building and after a long wait we found a free table. The staff were running around like lunatics taking orders and bringing food and it felt more like a factory canteen than a creperie. The noise was deafening and we didn't hold out much hope of being served so were pleasantly surprised when after ten minutes a waiter arrived. Our food came promptly and was very nice indeed. This place was swamped with diners and the staff and management were run ragged so all in all we couldn't complain. On a less busier evening I'm sure this restaurant would be an enjoyable place to eat.

Great atmosphere as folk arrived calling out " Bon soir" as they entered the restaurant. The quality of the crepes are first rate, the building like a wooden chalet within, hence the name.Plenty of room every time we've bee, even if not reserved a table..Windows to the front overlook the outdoor seating and then the blavet.

Great location in sleepy St Nicholas Les Eaux. Serving staff all very friendly and helpful. Busy in August with holidaymakers . Prices reasonable and quality good with galettes and crepes being freshly made. Seating on a small terrace at the front if no space available inside the wooden chalet.Been many times and always return for traditional Breton fayre. Great for families and friends.

The food, ambience, easy, overall quality was very good. Have been several times. It's quite a large restaurant, so can probably just arrive. Great for river side walk before you eat.....
