On holiday in St Tropez everything is expensive, but when the food is just so so thats not good. Additionally they added a 20% gratuity? Really. Once was enough.

We came to this restaurant due to Trip Advisor recommendations and we're so happy we did. The food is astonishingly delicious using the absolute best produce, delicately prepared and artistically presented. Customer service is obviously high and this restaurant experience is one I won't forget. The Caprese salad is the best I've ever had with divine buffalo mozzarella and my citrone risotto with prawns was fabulous. If come back to lovely Ramatuelle just to go to this restaurant.

We were with a group of friends, had a fantastic time. Little private teraces on the street. Great Italian cuisine with gorgeous wine list. Nice ambiente. You will not regret. Prices are very fair for quality of food. It is not a pizzeria, so don't expect to eat and drink for 30 Euro per person. It is high level, freshly cooked Italian delight so expect to pay 60-70 Euro per person without wine. You can pay much more for less in St. Tropez.

Food is good (not excellent),table set up is hampered by the cars ,the hotels van delivering "invalid "guests ,a poor singer . All these delivered at high pricing above standard local benchmark...

My husband and I wanted somewhere special to go for dinner, and the Concierge at our hotel (La Reserve Ramatuelle - THE BEST!!!) said that we must go to La Forge because it is quite unique for this area. From the minute you walk in to this tiny gem of a restaurant, you feel transported to Italy - but you are in the South of France! The husband and wife duo - hostess and chef - could not be nicer, and they circulate from table to table to ensure that you have everything you need.In the picturesque town of Ramatuelle - about 20 minutes from downtown St. Tropez, you can dine on authentic Italian cuisine with a slight French flare. The menu is perfectly diverse with choices of fish, meat and pasta, as well as incredible appetizers including an amazing prosciutto de Parma, and a caprese salad so fresh the tomatoes were likely just picked from the garden that morning.Phenomenal view, fabulous service (with a smile), and romantic ambiance - you could not ask for much more....except...the most delicious dinner. Everything on the menu sounded scrumptious, but we chose a pasta and a meat dish. We started with the eggplant ravioli with ricotta which is to die for - melts in your mouth. We followed with the most delicious and refined Osso Bucco - even better than the same dish we had in Italy. Bellissima!!!We ended our meal with several perfectly sweet "petits fours" and a shot or Mirtillo - an Italian digestif for after dinner - on the house. We left smiling from ear-to-ear, our bellies full (but not stuffed), and a fantastic evening out for a date in our Italian South of France.

We went there as it wad recommended by some of our friends. We took as starters, the crab and the tomatoes salad and as plates the cabillot and the fettuccine. The food was fresh and good quality. Although I found the main dishes not amazing, the starters were very good! It was 110€ with a glass of wine, a little expensive for it.

We stumbled upon this little gem by sheer luck. All we wanted is some small snacks for lunch, since we had a big dinner lined up. We stayed and ordered more! The cream soup of yellow peppers was amazing. Very intense flavor, slightly on the bitter side - a delight for those who fancy the flavors of an IPA or a Campari. Then we ordered the home made tortellini, filled with ricotta and decorated with a foam of white onions. Soul food! So good. Before we left we made a reservation for dinner next week! Can't wait to go back.
