First stop for dinner when we arrived in France. Last time was 4 years ago .nice menu lovely fish with exceptional sauces. We made two more visits one was a surprise 6 courses absolutely delicious from canapes to desserts. Lovely wine list ,friendly staff .

Because we have a vacation house right around the corner, we are always willing to give this restaurant a 3rd, 4th or 5th chance. We had a lunch recently that was quite pleasant, so we took friends here for dinner. We were seated upstairs and were a little surprised to surprised to see the chef herself personally taking care of the only two other tables comprised of large groups of local men. She saw that we were taken aback by her lack of attention to our group, and did try to visit us from time to time. The food was tasty and correctly prepared. The portions are always surprisingly small, but the food is original and fresh without being gastronomique. The fish is always cooked to perfection.Beware that if you are there on a weeknight there may be groups of extremely noisy locals. I mean, so noisy that you cannot hear the person across the table from you. Even if they are amusing, and buy you a round of Champagne, don't say I didn't warn you!

We waited 45 minutes for our appetizers just to find out that the restaurant was out of the fish carpaccio (monkfish) we ordered and replaced with mackerel which cost a lot less although they didn't adjust the price in the menu. So basically we payed 29€ euros each for a menu without dessert and we left hungry! We stuffed ourselves with bread practically.Perhaps les deux sardines is too used to having Parisiens come for the weekend who are too ' Blazé ' about it. But we live in the neighborhood. For a real price/quality value we would recommend le surf de Josephine restaurant or Le benetin restaurant who has a 27€ lunch menu that blows les deux sardines out of the water.

After reading good reviews about this restaurant, my wife and I decided to make a reservation 3 days in advance. No problem, the table was booked for 9:30pm.But when we arrived, as planned yesterday night, huge disappointment! There was a terrible smell when we have entered the restaurant. And we've been told that the table allocated to us, is the only side by side table (bar style setting) of the restaurant, located in a small corner. We were very surprised and asked for another table. They said that the restaurant was full, that is is a regular table, and that we could take it or leave it. I insisted and told them that we have not been informed about the special layout of this table when we booked our table over the phone (3 days ago). No effort was made to accommodate us, nor did we receive any apology. We decided to leave.

We visited following a recommendation, on a very hot evening with 4 members of our family. We were shown to a table upstairs and even with all windows open for a through draft it was too hot. If you don't like fish with their heads and tails still on maybe not for you, any other choices are very limited. As I cannot cope with un-filited fish I chose the crab starter as a main which was good but very small.

Tasteful dishes and original creations. I loved the combination of ingredients, using raw and cooked ingredients. Normaly I don't like sardines but I loved the way it was prepared. Very fresh and different.

On two levels, both small - there is a limited but good menu at lunch and a more expansive one for dinner. The seafood was fresh and cooked just right and the service was very friendly and helpful.

Black board menu that changes as the market changes. Not a huge menu which made choosing easier. Really lovely flavors with Fresh Sea Food.My Husband had the Scallops which were beautifully presented with amazing flavors and I had the fresh Merlin ( I think) which had an amazing sauce with it.Several Wines by the glass available. Our Waiter spoke English also which helped. But actually we would have got by as they were so friendly. We tried to go again tonight but they were closed ... Uggghhh I was really looking forward to trying other dishes
