Nous passons deux belles soirées à l'O Fagot et à chaque fois que nous reviendrons dans le sud de la France, nous reviendrons à coup sûr. Une cuisine raffinée à des prix raisonnables. Frank est devenu célèbre grâce à French Top Chef, donc c'est peut-être la raison pour y aller la première fois... mais vous reviendrez à coup sûr - nourriture délicieuse - nous avons adoré !!!!

We were a party of 4 for dinner outside on the terrace. We took 2 menus at 42€ and 2 menus at 28€ with one high/mid range bottle of red wine, several glasses of white wine. The service was so slow that it took 3 hours to eat the small plates that were supposed to be gastro food style, but just tasteless and good looking. The fish (monkfish) was overcooked, the squid was so chewy that we could not eat it.The deserts were very small and just full of sugar instead of tastes.And more importantly we were still hungry at the end! A big disappointment.
The staff is perfect. The food not what it should be except the menu with the choose of the cook. Ask you what you don't like and then its the surprise. Expensive but good.Pizzas ok asswell.Dailly menu, not good.Have been very disappointed, while the chef should be a great chef!!!
We've been to this place in family following Trip Advisor evaluations. We wanted a place far from tourists traps that usually are around on touristic spots. The food is not bad, but it is far from very good. It is just regular. The portions are rather small and the value of money is low (food is too expensive for the price we pay). I hat lamb chops and they were just OK. And it was a very small portion. Cooking was not as we expected (rather rare than medium). The starter was too simple and did not offer us a good surprise. I would not recommend this place. It is just too normal for the price you pay. Go somewhere else.
Having lived full time in Valras Plage for three years, I have tried almost every restaurant in town.....NONE comes close to O'Fagot, in respect of food, wines, service & decor. I would eat there almost on a weekly basis as I know the excellent quality of the establishment. I have posted some photos to give an idea of the superb meals on offer.....Congratulations to everyone involved!
